Specs: Windows 7 Home Premium, phenom II x 4 970 / 8 gb ddr3
I dont know which graphics card to buy. They keep changing the numbers. I've heard bad things about radeon 5xxx series with buggy drivers. Should i stay with nvidia? I'm so confused. I've looked at so many cards im gettin a headache. Right now I'm leaning toward a gtx 460. Ideally, something around $150 would be great. I just got through building a new rig, but im not a gamer. i may be in the future, especially if i get a free game....lol. I looked on the nvidia website. They used to have cards from gt250 to 295, most of those are gone. Are they calling it something else now? How can anyone keep up? They quietly came out with a detuned 460 last month, at a much lower price, those tricky devils. Now people think there getting a real 460 for $139. haha So what do you guys think? This is mostly used for multimedia, watching blu-ray movies, and i might do a little bit of gaming. This is my first build. Right now i have a gt220 in it to get online.
