Windows 7, Home Premium 64-bit sp1, amd Athlon 7750 Dual-core Processor, 6.0 gb ram, ati radion hd, 3200 graphics. msvcr120.dll missing.. games won't open and play after downloading.. I'm a novace, so I need step by step on how to fix this.. thanks sandy w
If you're running 'ati radion hd 3200 graphics', your PC isn't going to play games very well; maybe not at all. It will depend on the game's graphics requirements. This site will give you an idea of its performance: https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/... As for your main question, download & install BOTH the 32-bit & 64-bit versions of Visual C++ 2013, restart your computer, then try installing your game(s): https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/dow...
I've had this computer for about 6 or 7 years (whenever win7 came out). Never had any problems until about 4 or so months ago. Games have always played good. I can even load back onto the computer, games that were saved previous to 4 or so months ago, and they work fine.. Now, I get the message about the msvcr120.dll being missing
You must not be playing very demanding games then. The HD 3200 is onboard graphics & was released about 10 years ago. If you intend to hang on to the system, do yourself a favor & invest in a discrete graphics card.
I tried your suggestion. It didn't work. I download regular games off the internet. Not demanding, I don't think. It's like something went corrupt, or went missing. I didn't download and play games for a while when it worked fine. Then when I started playing again, is when the games weren't working correctly, dragging, freezing up. I've since downloaded games that I used to play just fine, and they are doing it now when I download them again...(sorry for the delay in response).
I have searched some information about it.
Set up VS2010 first
NOT SOLVED.. can't get games downloaded off internet to play..anyone new working there since dec 2017 that can help me? message edited by getnalong
Where are you downloading these games from and what games are you downloading?
If you're getting them from torrent sites or alike, it's possible you have picked up a virus that could be causing the problem.
myrealgames.com gametop.com myplaycity.com Avast has protected me in the past.. I scan for viruses everyday just to be sure I'm good..
