Wich processor is the best in slot for gaming at the moment?
Would be awesome with a link

if u r ready to spend cash ($)
get a core i7 970
its powerful but costs a lot

Unless you're a hardcore video/3D/audio nut, you don't need the Hyper-threading and triple-channel IMC that the i7 offers. The i5-750 is just as good a gaming processor for a lot less cash. In fact, the i5 can sometimes outperform entry-level i7 CPUs, thanks to its more aggressive implementation of Turbo Boost (automatic overclocking). It's also faster than the Phenom II X4 965.

BTW, the rare 1.13GHz Coppermine P3 was the best "processor in slot". :P

yh but ur right jackbomb the i5 is good for gamin
but not better than i7 in my opinion
eventhought it can beat some i7 family cpu's
