Specs: Windows XP

I want to know if it is possible, and what
motherboard and graphics card upgrades I will
need to make a machine fast enough to play Modern
Warfare 2.?
game box says it requires pentium 4 3.2 or better and shader 3.0 or better,256 MB NVIDIA GeForce 6600GT or better or ATI Radeon 1600XT or better

thanks for your help

800MHz CPU with RDRAM?

Depending on the case design, it may not accept a standard motherboard or power supply. You'd be better off building from scratch...there's going to be very little, if anything, that you can use from that old rig. Just keep as it is & play games from the 90's with it..

I agree with jam -- it's smarter & cheaper to put whatever you plan on spending towards a real gaming machine. What you got from your dad is too outdated to upgrade at a reasonable cost.
