So it will handle the card even though the card has a 400 watt rating?

That's an even better card than the HD4670. But since you're willing to spend $80-85 on a GDDR5-based GT240, why not add $5 and get an HD5670 instead? It's currently the fastest video card that doesn't require auxiliary power.

Edit: Looks like the 5670 is back at $95. Still, it's cheaper than the rest of 'em and not much more than a GDDR5-based GT240.

There are games that favor nvidia or ati architecture one of them is far cry 2 which favor ati. But crysis favor both ati & nvidia, so crysis is the best game for comparing 2 graphic cards. Btw 9600gt and hd5670 both they perform similar but 9600gt is faster. 9600gt green version(gpu, ram, shader clocks reduced) so i guess hd 5670 will be faster.

Is their a psu that will fit in my computer? And if so Dell told me that a bigger psu more than 300 watts will burn up my motherboard, is that correct?

Although, the Sapphire posted in my earlier response is competitively priced & the brand is reliable & the card gets excellent reviews, brand preference is subjective & thus vary from person to person based on factors like warranty; driver support; cooling design; retail bundling; factory overclock & even nuances like prior experience with the brand & customer service.

Until a few years ago, ATI actually sold retail cards based on their chip under the Radeon brand, but they no longer sell reference video card featuring their chip under the ATI logo, alongside OEMs, now you can only buy OEM cards with the ATI/AMD GPU.

joandjed,

Why did you put "Product: Xfx Radeon hd 4670 video card" in the heading of the original question?
