I doubt that "night" will ever see your thank you post, you should have posted it on the same thread which solved your problem.

Still, nice gesture. Just a pity you may have wasted your time.

I didn't see place to reply to him. Thx. I'll have another look. :-) Edit : I figured out how to got to his page and pm'd thx and why. Thx. :-)
I don't see way to edit original post. I was so excited to play BFV, I didn't think to post details of solved issue. 1st it was getting BFV to work in Win7, realized from forum posts explaining BFV has issue seeing disc drive in post Win98 Windows. Solve by using appropriate no-cd patch for BFV version in use. Map structure tearing of my BFV 1.21 after getting going with no-cd patch, plus in map music tracks not work. I suspected changes to maps after v1.0 possibly to blame. So tried uninstall. No go. Maybe due to no-cd 3 files changed. Had to manually del all BFV folders, run registry cleaner, still needed more out of registry to be able to install, ran regedit, searched game file name bfvietnam, took all registry referances to it out. Got v1.0 installed then. Did v1.0 no-cd 3 files insert. BFV then started with no map tearing. Only issue still was no in map music. "Night" here in past addressed this saying use shortcut properties for all users as admin in Win98 compatible mode. Music started working. Thx all. :-) :-)
