The Radeon 9000 is an antique, almost 10 yrs old. And it is NOT a gaming card. Hopefully you didn't pay more than $5 for it. What is it replacing?

Did you uninstall the old drivers before installing the card? If you were using onboard graphics, did you go into the BIOS & disable it? Is the monitor cable connected to the new card? Did Vista automatically detect the new card & install drivers for it? I just checked the AMD/ATI site & they don't list Vista drivers for the Radeon 9000 - my guess is it's too old. That model isn't even supported by the "Legacy drivers".

Just let Windows install generic drivers & be done with it. Then start shopping for a new card.
