All you need to upgrade is the video card. Both of these cards will easily outperform your 7600GS SLI setup.

Radeon HD 5770 - $144.99
Probably the fastest card you can get that your processor won't hold back. This is a DX11 card with very advanced audio and video processing, so it could double as a kick-ass HTPC card.

GeForce GTS 250 - $109.99
This is an older DX10 card, but XP will limit you to DX9 anyway. It's actually faster than the $120, DX11 Radeon 5750, making it a good choice for a machine running XP.

HTPC | Pentium M @ 2.82GHz | 4GB | 1.0TB | Radeon HD5750 | Blu-Ray | Win7 Pro | HDMI out to Onkyo TX-SR707

Better stick with dx 10 card GTS 250, so far metro 2033 dx 11 hd 5850 4 ATi perform well, hd 5750/5770 not perfoming well.
Dx 10 still good for both vista(dx 10) & win 7(dx 11).
