Specs: Windows 7
I have no idea what laptop comes with everything you need to play games like wow online. Could you suggest what type of laptop is recommended. I also need one with a pretty big screen.

As you can tell from the above link, decent gaming laptops are NOT cheap. And the average laptop you can get at Walmart won't get the job done. How much are you willing to spend?

I'll say. Just "maxxed-out" one of those machines just to see what it'd come to.

Over $7500.

Ouch.

My 23 year old son has tourette syndrome and does not leave the house very often. He has been playing WOW for many years. I did see the pmt plan for 60 month. I bet he would really like that one..I was wanting to stay around $1,000 but if we wait a little longer, we might be able to get the $2,000 one..so it has all the requirements to run WOW? If we don't go the laptop route...what is one of the best desk tops..his last one we purchased from tiger direct and my brother built it, but we don't have anyone to figure this out for us now. He for some reason wants a laptop, when a desktop would be so much better. I was going to surprise him, but I figure he will be happy either way if it runs WOW really well.

Get dell XPS 15z. its not very expensive and you can run most games on it with ease! It has a pretty big screen too.
You can also go for macbook pro 17inch with intel sandybridge graphics (but its much expensive)
