My computer restarted on its own why?

Specs: Windows 7
I was playing dod:s this moring when i decided to quit from the console in that mintue my computer automaticly restarted on its own. Am scared cuz i just got this computer yesturday dont wanna ruin it.. anyone no a reason why?

Power supply? Make/model? Wattage? Amperage on the +12v rail?

Random restarts are often the sign of an overloaded power supply, but CPU overheating is another possibility. So is bad RAM or bad drivers. Your specs are incomplete but from what you have listed, you have a reasonably good gaming system. Start by posting the power supply info & the CPU temp.

sorry for the delay post ya my psu is cheap its a 600w xtremegear i think thats what also sum what lowering my performence not to much but i can diffenetly see the number difference...

Ok, Of course i dont know for sure unless im actually on your Pc but using the console isnt a good idea to exit a game with. Unless it crashes that is, Secondly If the problem persists its by chance a unhandled Exeption Which means you shoud reinstall the game, But its definatly not your pc!
