my computer keeps freezing when game playing

Specs: Windows 7, phenom 2x4 965 4gig of ram
I have a Phenom 2x4 965 black edition cpu with a freezer 7 pro rev.2 cooler, a 750watt power supply and 4gig of memory the graphics card is palit gtx 460 with 2gig of memory. While playing call of duty 4 and the new civ 5 my computer freezes .

ur power supply is 750 watt any other specs on it like amps voltages on the first three rails
could be system is overheating ram not well placed
check temps

will check ram and voltages thanks but i have placed my old card in with no probs it is a winfast px 8800 gts tdh. It may be a case of driver probs maybe? thankyou for your reply will let you know how I get on.

if u placed ur old card with no problems u might have power supply issues with ur other card wuts the card u removed and dont forget psu specs

Hi Toxict51.
I am sure the power supply is ok and the ram seems to be fine but I have scince found out that my motherboard an ma790x-ud3p has pci-e 1.1 running at a max 75watts and the graphics card is pci-e 2 running up to 150 watts so I have another board coming with pci-e2 if this does not work then I will sell the new card on if not damaged.
