So I have my steam client on my SSD and my games on a separate HDD and now I want to mod a particular game is the process now different since the game is in a separate hard drive all together or do I install the mod into the Client in the main SSD Drive?
If the mod is game-specific you install it on the drive where that game is installed.
you got 2 copies of the game, 1 modded 1 vanilla?
then you launch the modded one & cant acces vanilla files?what?
please allaborate
im guessing this: install the mod into the Client in the main SSD Drive

yea both you ppl just gave two separate answers lol and no the game would be in my HDD so its not a duplicate and this question right now is hypothetical but this situation IS going to come up since my plan is to boot up all steam GAMES and whatever else from my HDD.
sorry im dyslectic as fk, cant read long sentences without it becoming gibberish. steam has a feature to add non-steam-games
then mod the games on the HDD where they are installed.

oh no problem thanks for your help anyways. But so this is understood these would be steam games that I'm modding not NON Steam games. It seems the answers is to put the mod with the game in the HDD so I guess I'll just figure this out as I go along. I was just wondering how other ppl operate when there set up is like mine with your data going to 2 drives.
