Solved lenovo thinkcentre m78 windows 7 pro shuts down unexpectedly

Specs: Windows 7 pro, 8GB
The computer does an unexpected reboot while I'm playing Windows Solitaire games. This has happened repeatedly on this new Lenovo ThinkCentre M78 mini desktop.

Thanks for the response, but I uninstalled Power Manager and the problem is resolved. The computer has not shut down in the past two days. I didn't want to send it back before I tried a couple of possible solutions.

Are any of the fans not working or vents blocked? This sounds like an overheating problem.

This is a brand new computer, fresh out of the box. Overheating is very unlikely, but thanks for the tip. I'm checking into a quirky Lenovo Power Manager application. They put tons of useless, redundant apps on these things for some reason.

No problem. If it is a brand new computer, you might as well send it back and get another good one, as you never know whether this was a defective computer shipped out of the factory.
