Hello to all,
I have an Acer Aspire 4820TG Timeline X laptop. It is 7-8 months old and till now I have been playing lots of games which require high graphics in them without any lag. Games such as Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Virtua Tennis 4, NFS Most Wanted, NFS Hot Pursuit, FIFA 12, etc. At night I keep my laptop on sleep mode. All of a sudden, today morning all of the games which I play started lagging. There is no update to my graphic card(please let me know if there is). Please help me out!!!!

Check for overheating due to blocked or clogged cooling vents.

The cooling vents are perfectly fine. There is no overheating on my laptop.

You're absolutely sure? You never placed the laptop on a soft surface (couch, bed, carpet, your lap) where lint & dust can get sucked into the vents & decrease the cooling capacity? Have you cleaned them out with compressed air at least once in the 7-8 months you've owned it? Have you checked the CPU temp & it's always within the normal ranges at idle & under load? Will you post those temp readings so we can verify?

you can check the temperature from the bios, and 60 degrees at idle mode is not good, even for a laptop, so what we want u to do is place the laptop on a table or buy a cooling pad to keep the pc cooled up.
Also clean the dust inside the laptop espeacially the fan place and the airways. Download malwarebytes as well for an extra scan for viruses delete what it finds

computers are a second home
