Wow really. T1s are VERY expensive ($350 to $1000 dollars a month) because they are dedicated connections meant for connecting LANs. Not only that but you will only get 1Mb / sec which in today's world is very slow. You would be better off with (I can't believe I am saying this) satellite internet.

Unless you are a company that needs a secure connection between two offices, I never suggest T1.

k i already have hughsnet and it stinks even more then T1 i just found out a lil bit ago that the T1 im getting is way faster then satallite internet and yes T1 is VERY expensive for some people but me i can afford it and its the only good connection i can get for gaming and at hom work for my small office and plus the area im in is a population of 3800 people and hardly anyone has a T1 connection for here where im at so i think ill be ok with it i really dont see how some one can play a video game having 1000 to 4000 latency all times and getting disconnected all the time from the game theres no enjoyment in that at all people rather have a good solid connection to the game with a latency of 100 and under and with 4 computers in my house hold with hughsnet very laggy and slow with T1 may be the only option i have for this moment and it might be alot faster for at home work plus this is my first time getting T1 =D

Ok, just letting you know what you are getting. I personally will never live in an area that does not have HSI. It is the first thing I ask before I move but I know some people can't stand to live in the city. To each his own I always say.

I do agree that Satellite sucks because of the latency issues and interference issues.

I WISH THE FCC WOULD DEREGULATE WIFI LIKE OTHER COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD SO WE CAN GET WIMAX LIKE THEY HAVE. STOP LESSENING TO THOSE @#$% CELL PHONE AND SATELLITE LOBBYIST.

Do you hear me FCC?

Sorry had to rant a little.
