Solved Installation goes not responding

May 11, 2015 at 08:48:48
Specs: Windows xp service pack 3, amd athlon 2x 255
I downloaded an .Iso file "juiced 2 hin" game which I always wanted to play, when I start the autorun or setup with daemon tools installation window charges to full a stops for a few seconds, it doesnt show anything else it just freezes, whenever I try to move my mouse or click on anything it starts saying "not responding". I went to control panel and saw that I somehow already got a juiced 2 installed but only with 13 mb of space, and the uninstallation also drops down the "not responding", I tried to find other juiced 2 files from the old times, but did not find a thing. (I had installed it a year ago but my GPU back then was too slow for the game so I uninstalled it)
Also I have tried this with 2 different download mirrors so far, still the same.
I also tried cleaning my pc with several good programs for malware and junk files, also haven't found a thing, did anyone ever had such a problem? What is wrong?

You should be backing up your files anyway, what would/will you do when your hard drive dies? Back up your files, then restore.

If you don't already have it, try using CCleaner-Slim, both the cleaner & the registry scanner. Remove everything they find. Then use the startup tool to disable any useless programs you have loading at startup & running in the background. Restart, run the cleaner again, then try installing your game. I assume it's an "illegal" download from the torrents? We can't help you with that.

When you tried to install the torent version, it could have brought along some nasties with it. Do you have a Windows restore point from before you tried to install the bad version? If so, do a restore and then try installing the good version again.
