Definitely not a good base for a gaming system. And 2GB really isn't enough to run Win7 decently. Unfortunately the PCI-e slot on that board is an x8 rather than x16 but even so, any gaming graphics card you install would be better than the weak Intel HD graphics. If you want to be able to play games, you'll need at least 4GB RAM, a video card, & a more modern version of Windows. No sense in going too wild with a video card though because of the weak Celeron CPU.
To install Win7 (or Vista), boot off the DVD, wipe out ALL existing partitions, create one new NTFS partition, then proceed with the installation. Do NOT upgrade from XP.
