i want to install some old games on my windows 7 laptop. the games were for windows 95. can anyone help???

Windows 64 bit doesn't support 16 bit applications. The support of 16 bit apps on 32 bit windows isn't good.

XP mode in Windows 7 may be compatible with your game but there are no guarantees. XP is compatible with well behaved 16 bit applications but many games are not. Otherwise, your only option is to install a virtual machine such as VirtualPC or VirtualBox and install an OS compatible with the game on that. You will need a legal copy of the OS.

No 64 bit version of Windows is capable of running 16 bit software.
