how do I port forward? none of my multiplayer games work .please help
I have tried everything all over the internet. I turned off my firewall. I have change settings on so many things ,but now I have seen some one who has a simaler problem and he fixed it by port forwarding. BUT I have no idea how to! I ve tried some tutorials but they are for games I don't have.

If you are wondering I have manly call of duty games and have a 400G Billion Router.

Are you setting up a server for others to connect to?

yes, sometimes I set up a server, but no one ever connects to it AND it does not come up on internet ,only Local. But when i made the sever I set it to dedicated internet?Yet when i open "console" type "connect ' put in my ip address it connects

Also I am wondering if port forwarding is only for your own server.

One more thing no servers ever come up when I say "join game"> "Internet". So I go online to see if there are any people on I find some people online . Then I go back to the game and open "console" type "connect ' put in their ip address and press Enter it would say Awaiting Connection 1, 2 ,3 ect till it timed out or for some games go on forever!!!HElp me please I have tried to fix this for a very long time.
