High cpu usage computer during games

Specs: Windows 7
I would always get 60 fps during league no matter what, dirty bomb as well, and now my computer sky rockets from the cpu usage of 20-30% and is now hitting 90-100% in those games. I've been having to endure this for weeks. Please help!

Where's the graphics card? Or are you using the HD Graphics 4600 integrated into the i5? If you don't have an actual gaming graphics card, I suggest you get one.

As for the high CPU usage, your system could be infected and/or you have a bunch of crap running in the background & hogging resources. When's the last time you cleaned out the garbage files, then did a full scan for viruses & malware?

1- Get a gaming level graphics card (make sure it is within your power supply's capabilities).
2- Add more memory.
3- Limit the programs running in the background. This requires you to determine what these are from Task Manager, deciding what to uninstall, what to force to not open with Windows, and what to leave alone.
4- Clean out the junk as recommended above. (you certainly can do #3 & 4 first)

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
