Gaming PC for 1400$?

May 1, 2009 at 13:55:27
Specs: Windows XP
I'm looking to get myself a new gaming computer, but I have a cash limit of 1400 to 1600$ (Canadian).

I want to use it to play games like WoW on max settings, download movies/music, burn said movies/music and store my plethora of old games.

What would be best for what I want and what I have to spend? I already have speakers/monitor/mouse/keyboard.

I was told *not* to get my PC through a store such as BestBuy.

And you were right, build it instead. It's cheaper if not much cheaper to build your own gaming pc then to go out and buy a namebrand gaming pc.

You will not find any namebrand pc gaming machine close to these specs for this price that you can build one yourself for.

Total $1,296 Canadian dollars.
