Specs: Windows Vista
Hello i am building a new gaming system and
will me naming the parts below i am wondering
if there are any money savers or better part i
can use in my build. staying in the same-ish
price range please comment and post your
builds ( i like seeing what builds other gamers
have). Also this if my first time build a gaming
PC from scratch. i have experiance with taking
PC's apart and upgrading fixing ect.

I plan to run more graphics cards in sli in the
future.

You have too many high dollar components & they're not well matched. You should be able to build a system that performs better for a hell of a lot less money.

The Core 2 doesn't need DDR3 RAM & SLi configurations are, for the most part, a huge waste of money. If you wanna run DDR3, build a Core i7 or AMD Phenom II system. Otherwise, choose a board that supports DDR2...& you'd be better off with one based on an Intel chipset rather than nVidia. Also, consider a different PSU with a single +12v rail rather than one with a multi-rail design. Do you really need the $100 sound card & $75 Zalman? Invest that money in a better video card...how about a GeForce GTX 260 (Core 216)?

will rethink my build around what this reply and other forum

yes I did thank you. I have looked at them all and have nearly
completed the updated build. I will post it shortly. I think i have
selected some much better parts. just researching all of the
components. research = :)

Whats your opinion about these two cards what ones better ect. Radeon HD 4890 and GeForce GTX 275 i am deciding between
these both but cant decide. Any help?

I have gone with the XFX GTX 275. But now i am trying to decide
between a motherboard foy my i7 build im deciding between the EVGA E758-A1 3-Way SLI and the XFX x58i. I am leaning
towards the EVGA but what do you all think? Thanks
