Hello this might be a very very dumb question
but I was wondering if my computer could run
Far Cry 1 on lowest settings. Specs:
Windows XP
480 MB RAM
2.0 GHz Pent 4
32 MB SiS
onboard

You just need a new video card.

I remember running Far Cry ages ago on a 1.4GHz Athlon Tbird, Radeon 9700 Pro, and 512MB of RAM. That setup could max out most of the video settings.

If you have an AGP slot, a Radeon 9600XT would be a great card for your rig.

I run it on high settings with a Athlon 2800+, 768Mb, and AIW9600XT.

The 9600XT is a good suggestion; lots of them on ebay now. Try to keep the price in the $20-30 range.

2.4 GHz Celeron
512 MB RAM
Sapphire 9600 Pro 256 MB
19" CRT @ 1024 X 768, 75Hz
