Solved d-sub out of range after dIII exp install

November 15, 2015 at 04:07:24
Specs: Windows 7
after install of DiabloIII exspantion the game will no longer play just shows
" D-SUB out of range 95.3khz/60hz"
do I need to adjust the resolution to above 95.3khz /60hz say 100.khz/60hz or lower it
I'm not even sure if I'm reading it right is it saying that at present it's 60hz and needs to be 95.3khz??

Found out the problem.
My computer was way more than capable of handling the game inc video card,
The problem was to high a resolution ,had to drop it to within the required limits of 60 hz
Ty for your replies but figured it out myself

Try launching the game in window mode, if possible.

You can also try reinstalling/updating your video drivers

No specs or monitor info provided. Does your system meet the minimum requirements for the game?

Why are you using D-Sub (VGA) rather than DVI or HDMI? Old monitor or old graphics card? What is the native resolution & refresh rate for your monitor? Set the screen resolution to whatever the native settings are & leave at that. If you don't know what the settings are, google your monitor specs. And if you haven't done so recently, try updating your graphics drivers as well.
