dell inspiron 1525 game proplems!!!!!!

Specs: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium, 1.995 GHz / 1525 MB
I have a dell inspiron 1525 that keeps switching off whenever i play a game on it like rome total war someone told me it was overheating but someone else said 1525 isnt meant 4 games plzzz can any1 help

you need to look at 2 things: your own hardware (what's your video card, for example? and your power supply?) and the internal temperatures. after a crash, check the bios for CPU temp and post it, someone will tell you if it's high or normal.

also 1.5GB of RAM is pretty low, especially in Vista.

It's true that the Intel X3100 graphics used in the Inspiron 1525 is not good for gaming, but shutting down is *probably* caused by overheating. Make sure the cooling vents aren't clogged with dust & when you attempt to play games, make sure to keep the rear of the laptop elevated so that fresh air can get into the vents. Try propping it up with a thin book or do something like THIS.
