Specs: Windows 7
I want to buy a game but at system reguirements it says:intel core duo 2.00ghz reguired. I have a laptop with core 2 duo 1.3ghz and centrino2.

will my laptop be able to play this game or not?

What about other system requirements(ram and video card)? Most notebooks doesn't have v-card(they use IGP's and they are weak for gaming). List the system model # and a game u want to purchase.

video card's got up to 2254mb hypermemory ( and it's a new laptop so without a lot of games or something), the game needs 256MB.
I have 4GB RAM and the game needs 2.

The major computer component influencing compatibility with modern games is going to be the video system. There is a great deal more to that than the size of memory it has or can use. The determining factor is usually what features does the video system support, and laptops are usually very weak in this department. Laptops, aside from the so called gaming laptops, are not very good with modern games. They may meet the minimum requirements but the gaming experience isn't gong to be very good.

You more than likely have an Intel Integrated Graphics Chip, not good, find the model of the IGP and look at this list:
