Computer shut down, now wont start any downloadable games?

Specs: Windows 7
Earlier my computer shut down, and now after it booted up took over an hour, it will not execute any down loadable games. (such as minecraft & league of legends.)

what were u doing before the computer shut down ? any BSOD's or just shut down ?
download malwarebytes and scan for infections.
please list ur system specs for more help

Ok these are the specs we want, u did not answer what were u doing before the shutdown ? It could be due to an overheating issue which probably damaged ur cpu/mobo
U could also download malwarebytes and scan for infexxtions
Also, download speedfan and monitor ur temps

i was in a skype call, and my computer just froze up and then woudnt boot up for awhile. the heat from it has been, quite normal. and is there anyway i could get the games up and running or would i have to search for new parts?
