Computer restarts during gameplay

March 16, 2010 at 11:52:18
Specs: Windows 7 64 bit
For the first time it happened when I played
Stalker:Cop in LAN.
Computer randomly restarts!
Then, in Race Driver GRID
The game was on pause!!
I went to the kitchen to smoke
I came back and the computer was restarted
The problem disappeared about a week!!
I did not do anything special
(I cleaned the hardware & updated drivers)
Now the problem is back
It happens in the games and programs such
as map editors, etc.

It could be temperature-related as kuwese suggested (they didn't called the Prescott P4 "Hot Potato" for nothing).

Might be the power supply. The Prescott isn't exactly an energy efficient CPU, and it appears that you only have a single +12v rail @ 18 amps. ColorsIT? Never heard of them.

Yeah psu can cause the same issues.
Edit. +3.3v & +12v rails are bad.
+3.3v=3.135v - 3.465v yours is 2.03v
+12v=11.4v - 12.6v yours is 8.20v replace the psu.
