Computer restarts at any stage of gaming

Specs: Windows XP
Man, I'm totally bugged. No matter what Game I play on my PC, it gets restarted for no concrete reason. Add to it, I don't know a word about the technicalities of my PC like memory card, graphic card, video card, etc. Please, please let me know the possible reasons and remedies too. I want to run FIFA 08 on my PC. If you can fix this problem that can run just this game I'll be so thankful.

here are the specs for my PC:
1: 512mb RAM
2: 250gb Hard Disk
3: Adapter Chip Type: Memory Size - 128mb, String: Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family

"here are the specs for my PC"

You didn't list the CPU, motherboard or power supply specs?

Looks like your system just barely meets the minimum requirements for FIFA 08. If you want to play games & play them well, you should upgrade to at least 2GB RAM & install an actual gaming video card. Your current setup has crappy Intel integrated graphics not enough RAM. It's not a gamer.

The restarting can be caused by overheating, an overloaded power supply, or driver problem. It's impossible to tell based on what little you told us. Turn off XP's "automatic restart" feature, then the system will lockup & display a blue screen error message instead.
