Computer periodically freezes on games HELP!

October 3, 2010 at 04:36:52
Specs: Windows 7
Ok basically, i'm not very good with computers and i've seen on a lot of questions ask, people asking for 'specs' i don't know what mine are sorry.
Right whenever i try to play a game on my computer every 30 seconds, my computer goes into a little fit where it constantly freezes for 1 second, miss a second, freeze for one second etc.
When i play games i like to listen to music, so i have my speakers and itunes in, when i open a game for example League of Legends, when it freezes the music makes a very very loud crashing sound.
Thanks for your help!

Specs = computer specification

In Windows 7 [Start]-> Right click "Computer"-> Properties.
Post processor type and speed + amount of RAM (installed memory)

"When i play games i like to listen to music, so i have my speakers and itunes in"

That could very well be part of the problem. Try NOT using iTunes. In fact, try disabling ALL unnecessary background programs so that they don't interfere with your gameplay.

"i've seen on a lot of questions ask, people asking for 'specs' i don't know what mine are sorry"

You have no idea which video card, how much RAM or which processor you have? Do you have an OEM system (Dell, eMachines, Gateway, HP/Compaq, SONY, etc)? If you do, post the model number...one of us will look up the specs for you.
