Cant install anything - New Laptop

Specs: Windows 10
I bought a new Dell - Inspiron 15.6 touch-screen laptop (Windows 10) about a month ago and never installed anything until i finally decided i wanted to play online games. It would only let me download the game but once i get to the installation part, it look like it literally frozed while loading (my arrow turns into that circle blue loading icon) and it basically just doesnt load and stays like that until a message appears saying Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion. It also doesnt let me download any other stuff . I dont think its my internet connection because im able to browse through the internet smoothly and watch any kinds of video with no problem. P.S. my laptop seems "slow" for a "new" laptop.

Your month-old laptop is covered by manufacturer's warranty for at least a year so contact Dell to have it returned for inspection.

What's the model number of your laptop? If it's a cheapie, it might not play games well, or at all (depending on the game). And where did you download these games from? Win10 will not allow pirated games to be played. Welcome to the world of Win10! As for your laptop being slow, did you uninstall all the Dell crapware?
