Specs: Windows 7
I have BSNL boadband, whenever I try to connect it shows explorer cant connect. I bridge connection, I want it tobe direct.

I tried to find the solution on google.
I tried everything I found on may forums except resetting router.
But no luck.

Then I replaced my router to see
whether I can open

And yes. I was able to open that page.

Again I replaced my router which I was using.
It didnt work with that.

I thought it must be the incoming line causing the problem.

Thank you

The address you gave is typically the routers IP address. If it is the factory default address and you or the installer changed the router's address then it will be different. You need to look up what it was changed to (most write it down in the front or back of the router's manual or installation guide) or reset the router to defaults. Please note that by resetting to factory defaults you then need to go back in and reset everything including password, Wifi name and log in, and other things so make sure you know what you have and what you need first.
Saying that, if there is no immediate reason to log in to your router, why bother? "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" If/when you need to, you may find the information you need and it will be simpler.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Although that is often the router's address, there are other possibilities. is a favourite with some big ISPs (BT in the UK for example).

So where did you get the address from.

So far the only router ip's i've seen are:

You can also start cmd.exe and type: ipconfig
Default gateway is your router ip.

Good luck ;)
