Specs: Windows 7
what would be a good gaming computer i could build for around $600. (i know $600 only goes so far lol) as well what would be the component i would want to spend the most on (comparitivly speaking)

You should be able to pull it off for about $500. See if the following articles are helpful.

$600 Gaming PC:

The video card in the above build is pretty high on the performance chart. You could probably drop back a couple of levels to save a few bucks then put that savings toward 8GB RAM rather than 4GB.

If you switch to AMD rather than Intel, you can lower the overall cost even more. Many of the FX-series CPUs cost under $150 & decent socket AM3+ 970 boards can be found for under $75.
