CPU/Ram: 3.4 GHz / 2047 MB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS
Sound Card: Realtek AC'97 Audio
of course pci-e is better the vid card i suggest is the HD 5670 100$ ddr3 1 gb
but wut abt ur psu specs volts amps etc
My power supply has been upgraded to 550w
I dont have PCIe only PCI
PCI-e > AGP > PCI If your board only has standard PCI slots, you're screwed. If you have an AGP slot & your current card is a 7600GS, I see no point in upgrading. If you never upgraded the power supply, you'd most likely have to do that to be able to run a better video card. And considering the cost of a decent PSU + a decent AGP gaming card, you'd have to spend well over $100. IMO, you'd just be throwing your money away on an outdated system.
If you insist on doing it, You can't beat this Corsair 400W PSU for $30 after rebate & 10% off coupon: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...
Plus this Radeon X1950Pro for $65:
yep thats the one but like jam said u'd be waisting ur money on an outdated system but hey give a shot if u insist abt it
Would the HIS Radeon HD 4650 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat... be any better?
"Would the HIS Radeon HD 4650......be any better?" No. You would still need to upgrade the power supply plus newer AGP cards are plagued with driver problems. Stick to what I listed or don't do it at all.
