How does that compare to the radeon 3850 and similiar cards I've read about on these forums?

I just looked that card up and it appears to be pci express only. I need an agp card for my motherboard.

In AGP? I don't think so!

Are you in the US? The Radeon HD3850 is/was one of the best AGP cards made, but they're hard to come by & not cheap. You should be able to find the HD4650 or HD4670, but they're not cheap either...about $100 +/-. TigerDirect & CompUSA have been selling the X1950 Pro for $65 lately but I just checked & it's currently unavailable.

There is a used one at Amazon for $60 though:

Will my computer specs be able to make use of the 100 dollar cards like the 3850 or will it bottleneck? Ill spend 100 if I can make use of it but if I can't id rather get something cheaper.

Don't waste your money on an ATi card! Buy yourself a nice Nvidia 7800, or 7900 AGP card.

PowerMac 9600(1 ghz G4)
512mb RAM
50gb SCSI
ATi 9200 PCI
