Specs: Windows Vista 64-bit
I recently just did a full system recovery on my computer and was gaming on it last night. Everything was working fine then all of a sudden when i turned on my computer today this message showed up "No ATI graphics driver is installed, or the ATI driver is not functioning properly. Please install the ATI driver appropriate for your ATI hardware
." I tried installing the latest drivers and it tells me it was installed and the system reboots itself but when it returns to the desktop it shows the same message as before. It says the display driver isn't funcionting right and I need to install the appropriate driver. I really want this to work so any help would b very much appreciated.

Uninstall the driver, reboot, then reinstall the driver. And make sure you're using the right one.

BTW, what was wrong with your system that forced you to do a "full recovery"?

I have an Alienware so it comes with Alienrespawn v2.0 it popped up after several blue screens. So right now I have it fresh out of the factory when I first received it. I tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling but im going to try it once more. Im hoping this works =/. thnx for the help so far!

update: i uninstalled rebooted reinstalled the driver exact one from that link and still nothing =/

wat pops up. any help would b nice

No i havent installed any drivers for the motherboard. I thought they would already be installed and ready to go with that alienrespawn( system recovery) program included in this computer. Also because when I first did everything was fine, the graphics card was recognized and working. but ill see wat I can do with my motherboard.

i just saw that message pop up again im assuming that driver to the motherboard didnt work. =/
dang it some 1 help me! =. i might just have to do another full recovery if nothing works.

just installed the driver given off the alienware website for the ASUS X58 motherboard P6T deluxe motherboard.
