Artifacts in all games

I have recently run into issues with any game that requires 3D rendering; they're all unplayable as a result of artefacts making the screen look like jumbled polygons shapes of random sizes.

This occured randomly at one point. No new installation or download triggered it. I have updated my graphics drivers and Direct X but nothing has changed. It must be an issue with the 3d acceleration as when I disable hardware acceleration under display settings (or reduce the acceleration to the point where 3d is disabled) some games work, but are beyond reasonably slow. Any Ideas besides my card being fried?

PC Info:
XP x64bit pro sp2
4GB 1066 RAM
Phenom 9600 Quad 2.3GHz
Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe mobo

I also have liquid cooling and good fan/air circulation so I'm doubting and hoping I didn't fry it...

Liquid cooling is a waste of money. My bet is the video card is fried. Either that or you forgot to connect the aux power plug.

Nope aux power is plugged in... I double checked all connections. It's looking more grimm by the minute; my card is most likely fried; which is weird because the dxdiag for 3d acceleration works fine, and some less graphics intensive games run with more of a constant full screen motion blur as opposed to a screen full of artifacts... I thought a melted graphics card would completely seize?
