✔ Best Answer
Go into the security center on the control panel. Select Windows Firewall and make sure it is set to notify you when it blocks something. If it isn't, go to the left where it says "Change notification settings" and set it to notify you. When it pops up next time just select allow. You can also add it to the list of allowed apps by selecting "Allow an app through windows firewall" under the firewall menu. Then scroll down to Java and make sure its checked.

If that helped, please mark it best answer so the question will be marked Solved. If it did not, try uninstalling Java and go to Java.com and download the newest version and install it. Just look out for check boxes on the installer that will install other programs in the process.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
