2001 wolfenstein installation problem

Specs: Vista Home Premium 32 Bit, Intel Core 2 Quad6600
i am having a problem with wolfenstein,i install the game and it loads to a blue screen..and i get this error message :

wolfsp.exe has stopped working.a problem caused the program to stop working correctly,windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this problem with wolfenstein i would appreciate it.

SkipCox: and i tried running wolfenstein under xp compatibility mode,but i still get the same error.

Some old games have problems with modern hardware.Have u try to run it using only one core?I think it can be done thru task manager.

Found this in another forum. If it works, credit goes to 'Churchland':

Go to Nvidia Control Panel, "Manage 3D settings", "Set Extension Limit to" ON

wolfenstein 2001 is now working properly.thanks to all that have helped me !!!!
