Good evening all,

As ever when I experience issues with my laptop which is fairly regular, I head straight over to this forum which rarely lets me down........

The issues I'm experiencing this time relate to unable to connect to the internet using my laptop. I'm currently using my iPad linked to my home wifi to write this post so I know it's not my home network.

I have also noticed that my wifi/wireless network light on my laptop is off even with the slided switch is in the on position.

I encountered this issue after running malware bytes quick scan and removed a couple of issues raised, once my laptop rebooted itself that's when I started to experience this issue, as I was connected to the internet quite happily before.

I suspect that I might have deleted a wifi/wireless network driver in the process........

Can anyone help

Kinds regards

Mmm... Presuming you have lost drivers... The links below may help you understand how to restore them.

You will need to know though which make of wifi adapter you have installed

When I google for a Toshiba Satellite pro 1300, or go to Toshiba support... that model doesn't come up anywhere? Have you posted correct model details?

Drivers for your Satellite would usually be available from Toshiba support/downloads too.

The MS link above is general how to from MS, and refers to Vista but it's much sme for win-7

If you connect to your router via cat-5/ethernet cable can you get on-line that way? Preuming so - and you can correctly identify your model number- likely the Toshiba support site will have the drivers to download directly to you Satellite. Then simply follow Toshiba instruction to install them

Sometimes they will come down a self-installing package; sometimes a package to to expanded/unzipped to wherever you decide. After-which you run the install routine an point to that location when promptedfor the drivers...,
