Windows says I need video device driver.

September 4, 2011 at 14:08:19
Specs: Windows XP
I received a message saying I need a video device driver for my Certified Data desk computer.
Am a senior and don't even know what that is?
I cannot take this computer to London Drugs where I bought it as i don't drive and it is too heavy. Why is there not support for C.Data computers?
Would appreciate help with this.
I am not sure if this is an input device or video.

... I used this freeware and it did the job for me:

http://www.driveridentifier.com/

... download, install then open/run it "scan drivers" while "online"

... the program should then produce a "http" window with your pc's listed drivers

... next click (@ the end of required driver) onto download "update"

... which should send you to another webpage with a list of relevant downloads.

... select one, click to another "web hop" scroll to bottom then click "download"

... to the actual download created link to click onto!
.
Demonstrative exspelling
... there is logic to this madness!

"Why is there not support for C.Data computers?"

They do have a website but it seems they don't supply drivers like most other PC maker's do (at least I couldn't find any). It pays to research what support there is on the web before you buy!

Their website is here: http://www.cdata.ca/default.aspx

If you want good website support, buy a brand that we all know (except HP/Compaq, they are a load of trouble).

Is this for a Certified Data computer?
I need a video device driver. Will I find it in the url you sent me to?
I had loaded a driver about three months ago and it filled up a whole page of symbols in my documents page, which I have no idea what they are.
I guess I am so new at this that I am afraid I am going to get another page of symbols. Microsoft said to go to the manufacture of C.Data but they do no answer my e-mails.
