Specs: Windows 7 Ultimate, Intel Core 2 Quad 2.66 GHz / 4094 MB
I have a Dell Insperon 2200 that has an Intel Pentium M 735 (1.7GHz) Processor
512MB PC2700 DDR Memory. It also came with Windows Dark Edition as the OS. I decided to upgrade and installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit on it.The problem is that I can't get sound on it. I tryed getting the High Definition Audio Codecs driver from realtek, but it didn't work.

You should never get device drivers for a laptop direct from the device manufacturer.
Only Dell has the correct drivers for Dell laptops because the drivers are all custom-made for them. These custom drivers are not available on the device maker's website.

Go here: http://support.euro.dell.com/suppor...

Before proceeding, select your country at top left if it's not the UK

Another thing: Were you aware that Windows Dark Edition was/is an illegal pirate version? There's no genuine Windows version called Dark Edition, but there is a modified pirate version with that name, which was produced in Thailand I believe.
