Vista driver problem

Emachines El1210-11 desktop pc
June 23, 2011 at 12:08:40
Specs: Windows Vista Ultimate, Pentiun (R) Dual-Core CPU
Vista ultimate device manager is showing that there are no drivers for ethernet controller, network controller, sm bus controller or video controller, standard vga graphics adapter driver is also missing. I have tried to install or update the drivers but apparently the system can't find the file specified for any of them.
I can't access the internet at all on my laptop running vista ultimate x32 bit so am using my old laptop running xp to type this.
Can anyone help please? not too knowledgable about this stuff I'm afraid.

On the machine you are using now you need to go to the emachines website, click on 'support' then 'download centre' and find the exact model of your system - download the drivers and copy them to a memory stick or CD, then put the memory stick/CD into the emachine and run the installation program(s) for each driver, starting with the chipset driver (which will include the drivers for sm bus and possibly a network adapter).
