What make and model laptop do you have?

Why the need to download/install the drivers afresh (again)?

if you go into device manager, are there any yelloe exclamation marks? I youa click on the sound "icon" (right click?) what does it show?

If there is a need to install drivers you must get them from the computer manufacturer. From anywhere else they are likely to be unsuitable, if not scams. Do not use any driver finding software as it can cause more problems than it fixes.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Be "very" cautious/careful about using sites that offer to help download/updating etc. drivers.. Invariably the best place for drives is the site fro the computer in question - the manufacture; or the manufacturer for the device in question.

The option to update a driver is built-in within Device Manager - for each "device" listed there. Generally there is seldom little need to go to "non manufacturer" sources

Hi! You can search for drivers in the official support website of your device. Generally, you need to be patient and spend time to find it. Aother faster way is using driver tool which can detect your device infor and download drivers for you. I can't post link here, You can search a program named Driver Talent. I use i to manage drivers in my computer!
