Sound (again) and Win 3.11

Specs: Windows 3.11 Greek, Celeron / 512 MB
I have bought an old Compaq Evo N610c laptop and dual-boot MS-DOS 7.10/Win 3.11 and Win XP SP3. Windows 3.11 runs smoothly so far, but I have (as usual with newer systems) no sound. The system claims to have an Intel 82801CA/CAM AC'97 sound controller. Anybody knows if there is any hope that I find a suitable driver so that I have sound work?

HP/Compaq do not support Windows 3.xx on that model, but you could try Intel:

It's very unlikely, however, that you'll find Windows 3.xx drivers anywhere these days except on maybe some "die hard" enthusiast websites. Try Google Search with an appropriate search criteria.
