Specs: Windows 7, i5/4GB ram
Hi there folks,

Having a small problem with my Nvidia GT330M driver for my Sony VPCCW26FA. The laptop came with windows 7 home 64 bit version, but to get my laptop to be able to check my emails for work via outlook my IT guys said I had to change to Windows 7 Pro 32 bit, I was happy to comply so went aheadd and did this.

Not realising Sony seem to lock drivers for models to specific versions of Windows I've had no end of troubles since I loaded the different version of windows on. I've managed to sort out most things but I cannot get a driver for my graphics card to work. I'v been trawling the net for days searching but nothing seems to work.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction of a driver that will work on this laptop with Windows 7 Pro 32 bit?

Thanks in advance.
Ian

The drivers from Sony are usually configured to work with their laptops, you have been to Sony Support Site ??

Hi there, yes been to all the regional Sony sites (US, Europe and Asia). I've downloaded several different 32 bit drivers for the GT330M, but they won't install. I get an error message that there is no compatable device detected.

I understand that the drivers may be locked to specific models, unfortunatly I cannot find a 32 bit driver specific to this model of laptop on the Sony sites.

Is there any way I can edit a file to make a relevant driver install?
