Some software settings are unavailable

Specs: Windows 8.1, 4thgen i7/8gb
I have an Asus N550JV laptop with a 4th gen i7 4700 cpu, 8gb memory, Optimus graphics, 1tb HD with 2 partitions and a full HD screen(1920x1080 resolution). When I recently installed a new Nvidia driver, I lost some Nvidia Control Panel options. After some research about the problem, I uninstalled the Nvidia driver and then downloaded, installed and ran a program called DriverSweeper to delete bits of Nvidia software that had remained from the uninstall of the software. I then tried uninstalling the Intel HD graphics driver and then rebooted the computer. I then reinstalled the Nvidia Optimus software and I have the same problem. Help. All replies and suggestions will be greatly respected and appreciated.

By the way, I have had no problems with the Intel HD 4600 drivers. If you need any more info, let me know.
