samsung syncmaster b2230 driver

Specs: Windows Vista
I'm using a Samsung SyncMaster B2230 monitor that is displaying stretched image. I thought it might be that I need to reinstall the monitor driver and see what happens. I searched online, but all I got was a bunch of driver detective type of software that intend to let me buy those software first. I don't need those and all I need is a simple monitor driver. Why won't Samsung protect their own product reputation by solving user's problem and providing users what they need without trying to push all those junks?! Can someone tell me where I can get a free download of the driver mentioned above?

Thanks!

The monitor does not usually require additional software to run. The video card or onboard video requires a driver installed to run. Perhaps it is the resolution settings or is on stretch, these are found in the control panel under Display. To see if the drivers are installed for the video adapter...control panel, System, Device Manager. Open device manager if the listing have solid little plus's down the left things are probably all installed ok, but under "dispaly adapter" should not have any exclamation marks. goodluck.
