Randomly no audio at all

Acer Aspire 5920-6329 notebook
February 2, 2010 at 11:10:06
Specs: Windows Vista
Right i turned my laptop on one day and out of nowhere, as its starting up, i get notifications that my Realtek audio bus driver has stopped work, HD audio chip has stopped working, also tells me to change my sound settings to Realtek; it brings the sound settings up but there's nothing to choose, its all blank. And then finally tells me that its found some kind of unknown new audio hardware but when you try and install it, it says that it cant find the drivers.

I've tried restoring my laptop to an earlier date which did nothing, then i tried to re-install the Realtek Driver but then that still does nothing and when i restart my laptop its no where to be seen.

I hope this makes sense to someone because it makes no sense to me at all ha

Right apparently i got it a little bit wrong...

when my computer starts up i get 2 Microsoft Windows notifications.
1 saying that that my HD Audio Control Panel has stopped working and then the other saying that the Realtek audio chip has stopped working.

Then i get a found new hardware notification for an Unkown Device on High Definition Audio Bus.

Then i get an Acer VCM notification saying "to enable the audio switch function, select Realtek audio device as the in/out device"

Then brings up the sound settings but theres nothing in it at all.

I hope that makes it some what clearer and i hope someone replies to help
