Solved Printing Photos in Ubuntu 10.10

Specs: Linux i686, 4GB
Hello,

I recently installed Ubuntu 10.10 on my PC and its a great OS. but I am having an issue printing photos. I don know why I can print photos with size 4 x 6 inch.

does any one have the same problem? any idea or solution pls

Note: I am using Canon iP4600 as a printer.

Is that not a Canon PIXMA iP4600 ?

It would appear that the function you require is part of the software/driver package and it appears tha Canon only provide a driver "This driver software allows your computer to interface with your Canon printer."

Therefore one would presume you need a seperate Linux Software to enable that feature. Should of stuck to Windows 7.
